Agenda for the Live Seminar in Salt Lake City, UT July 17, 2023
This will be a full day of Flexi topics. We invite any level of user, new or experienced, to attend. During this live seminar, led by Flexi Expert, Mark Rugen, students will see how to improve their use of Flexi in design, printing and cutting. Here are just a few of the topics that will be covered:
• Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts that will accelerate design. We will show how to set up Flexi properly for faster design and better printing & cutting.
• The right color managed workflow. We will show you how to set up Flexi and your printer so that what you see on the monitor will match what you print.
• How to color match and use Pantone. Let me explain the best way to match a color and use the Pantone Library properly.
• Contour and Perf Cutting. I'll show you some of the ways to ensure contour and perfcuts line up properly.
• How to update Flexi safely. Let me show you how to update Flexi without losing your original program in case something goes wrong.
• Using white and varnish inks. Let's see how to properly take advantage of these inks if your printer has them.
• Blending Options in Design. I'll teach you how to use the Flexi blending options for creative design in Flexi.
• Adobe and Flexi. Okay, let's see how to use Adobe products with Flexi and get color matching and more.
• Adobe Plugins. I'll share some great FREE Adobe photoshop plugins that will help with design and color.
• Using printer RIPS. Okay, let me show you the way to match FlexiDesign with your printer manufacturer RIP. (Versaworks, VerteLith, Others)
As you can see this will be a day loaded with valuable learning. However, seating is extremely limited. I'm looking for 12 professionals that will come to our office and learn. This is first come first serve, so don't wait.
Who Should Attend: Anyone that uses Flexi with a cutter or printer. All levels of experience welcome.
